One Hundred and One
"One Hundred and One" is a song from One Hundred and One Dalmatians written by Robert and Richard Sherman. This would have marked the first time that one of their tunes was used in an animated feature. However, an instrumental of "Playful Melody" is heard over most of the opening titles, most likely because the film itself is not a traditional musical.
The song, however, appears on the 1961 Dog Songs: 101 Dalmatians album, as well as the record Walt Disney's Story of the 101 Dalmatians with Songs from the Film. The song also appears on the Bone-a-Fide Hits! CD.
